ok so thanks to -CheeseEater-'s rec im building this comp as my 1st build and my actual 1st desktop(ive alwas been a laptop user and i hate laptop)

CPU: Intel Pentium Dual Core E2160 - 1.8GHz
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-945GCM-S2L Motherboard
RAM: CORSAIR ValueSelect 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667
GPU: Galaxy 9600GT 512MB DDR3
Drive: Pioneer 20x SATA 215BK
HDD: WESTERN DIGITAL 5000AAKS CAVIAR 500GB

PSU: Thermaltake TR2 RX 450W

what monitor in the price range of all the stuff i am getting shall i get?

um may i point out im a bit dumb when it comes to computing(we all started somewhere) so if a monitor is something there than :S

ok searchin prices here in aus(we always get the stuff more expensive) ive found it to be 40 bucks more and yes that makes a difference. anything else out there in my price range or would that be the best?

That BenQ monitor costs in excess of $260+ Australian. Insane I know, but that's what we get charged for over here...:(

ACERX193W 19'' Black $200-220 (Australian Pricing, as is everything else I've posted)

The price point for all good LCD's is relativlely high. But therefore, you know that your getting exceptional quality. Many of my mates have this monitor for there gaming, and it's a stunning bang for the buck.
