monitor shakes on steam games

So when ever i try to play a steam game like tf2 or bc2 the last two inches of my screen shake. I have tried changing up the settings going to native setting did not help. Do you guys have any ideas on what i could try to get it to stop shakeing. Thanks for the help.

hmm. Are you using a CRT? If so maybe try changing the refresh rate of the screen.

I am not using a crt monitor. I just picked up a LG W2240 for this build.
