Hi,

I had a post up a while ago with my system specs and I asked for any good games to play on them. Most of you however recommended that I upgrade my computer, so I did. Here you go and please post any new games that would run on here. I'm open to all genres of games except games like WoW that have a monthly subscription fee.

2.7GHz Single Core Processor
2Gb Ram
1Gb VRam Video Card
500Gb Hard Drive (Space is sufficient)

I think thats the major components that you guys need so please, go ahead and post! :)

Thanks for the quick reply. The video card is a GeForce 9400 GT. Was that a good choice? I was also looking at the game The Witcher, has anyone played that? I'm pretty sure I meet the recommended system requirements.

Yeah. The Witcher is a great game. Have you tried Oblivion? or maybe Bioshock?

I love Oblivion. I currently have my video card installed in my sister's computer and am able to play Oblivion on Ultra High graphics without a problem. It only has 1 Gb of ram and runs Vista but I'm going to install Xp on mine so it might even go faster.

However, Bioshock I have never played. I looked at screenshots and it sort of reminds me of Half Life 2 (Which I also liked a lot. First game I played where you could actually interact with parts of the environment.)

Only 1Gb? 1Gb is far more than you really need for games.

I heard Bioshock was pretty special so i guess you should try it out. Counterstrike Source and Warcraft 3 frozen Throne.

You can play all these maps like dota and footmen, etc.

COD4 could even work alright on those specs.

Lol. I didn't mean 1 Gb of Ram wasn't enough it's just usually when you look at the physical memory usage through the task manager on my sister's Vista machine it has a usage of 60-70% However, when I play games, I try and turn all the processes I don't need off such as explorer.exe which seems to take up the most when it idles for obvious reasons. I've been trying to clean it up though because she has some annoying virus protectors that have run out of their trial. Some reason they don't seem to stop running.

sorry to break it you pal but a single core processor and a 9400 gt is not a good upgrade if you want to play the latest games. you're better off lookin at games from 3-4 years ago

I don't need to be playing the newest games like NFS Shift at the highest graphics. I just want some better games besides Wolf 3D and Doom 98 lol. (Not saying those are bad games though :P)

Also, I think you're referring to me saying "Please post any new games on here." I was actually talking about games that weren't already posted on my previous thread. Sorry for any confusion.

btw thanks for all the ideas they are really going to help out. Cheers!
