my pc seems to run the games i play (HL2, COD2, Medal of Honor) pretty well.  with my current set-up, will adding 1000 more memory going to help me out that much?  my pc specs are at the bottom of this post.  thanx for the input!

i dont think so but changing video card will make some changes and i suggest u to buy giga ddr with 800mhz not 400

First this mobo has only ddr slots not ddr2, Am not sure though. 

second, if his mobo had ddr2, 800 wont be anyuse for that processor.

for wjgia if u add memory u wont notice any performance boost, maybe 2 fps .

But if u change your video card to a newer 1 like the 8600GTS or 7600GT u will notice serious perforamce boost.

I assume he's on AGP....in which case it's about time to start saving for a new computer ;) (I'm AGP free for 2 weeks =D
