i have played morrowind goty in the past and i couldnt really get into it because i never knew what to do exactly....ive been wanting to reinstall it and give it another shot and so i was wondering if there was any mod out there to give some type of guidance or structure to the game...like a mod that would direct me where to go instead of leaving me in a world i know nothing about
Your Journal will normally tell you exactly where to go especially for the main quest, everything else is up for you to decide. Quests will still be put in your journal to help you out but you can literally do anything you want. Walk around, explore and just try to enjoy yourself.

I'll give you a hint to start you out... make your way to Balmora and start asking around the various NPC's for the contact you were told to report to. He'll guide you from there through the main quest. But half the fun in the game is finding the cool side quests and dungeons that are all over the place. Just start talking to people in the towns and cities, you'll soon start to find things to do.
Morrowind is all about non-linear gameplay. The journal will help through the main quest, but the most fun is just exploring and doing all of the side quests.
Morrowind took me a while to get into as well, but have some patience, because its definatly worth while
If you need structure I don't know if morrowind is the game for you. I got morrowind when it came out and 'beat the game' about a month before oblivion came out. I never really cared about the main quest, everything else to do in the game was just too much fun.
