Most complex game you've ever played?

For me, EVE Online, hands down. I just started my trial a couple of days ago. Even after the great tutorial... what in the sweet and holy name of God is going on. :shock:

i only played a small part at my friends house but I agree definelty EVE,

the FFXIV beta. Quantum physics degree required to equip a fishing rod

X3 Reunion and EVE Online.

EVE Online was pretty tough, the X series if you get into massive fleet management and complex building. Supreme Ruler 2020 is micromanagement hell and Paradox games can be fairly overwhelming when you first get into them and are fairly complex, especially Hearts of Iron and Victoria series. MadCat46

AI War: Fleet Command. To this day the most mind-boggling game I've ever attempted to play.

First time I played WoW.

I was like "WTF are all these numbers for? o.0"

I haven't really had much trouble with PC games personally (yet). I'd have to say maybe Dragon Age as it was my first experience with a CRPG in over a decade and my previous one was the relatively simple Diablo II. :P

But the most complex game I have played is probably Gun Valkyrie for the first Xbox...... wow. Wow.

X3 as difficulty and GTA IV (followed closely by Crysis/Metro), technology.

I'll go with Hearts of Iron and Europa Universalis, complex as hell at first, but fun and rewarding when you get the hang of it.

Never tried EVE, but I guess that it's not easy to pick up and play.

falcon 4 allied force for me, the only game I really had to know what I was doing for even just playing the game. I wonder if I can even call that thing a game, it's such a complex sim...

Civilization IV or X3: Terran Conflict

I love them both, but they do hurt my brain.

ArmA II.

Disega or however you spell it for the PS3 is pretty much HUH WTH complicated at times coupled with a difficult to master fighting system.

Temple of Elemental Evil is complicated in its fighting system and actually getting the game to work is also a challenge.

Baldurs Gate series.

Final Fantasy Tactics.

Neverwinter Nights 2 etc

Overall i havent struggled to much its more down to learning what you need to know! Actually Demons Souls is complicated if you get into mastering the PVP some of the Stats and things required of you are highly demanding.

Probably Baldur's Gate. I'm only just getting into complex western RPGs after playing platformers and JRPGs for most of my life. It's a fun change. I hope to get Temple of Elemental Evil off GOG soon; that looks pretty cool.

I second the mention of Freespace2.

ArmA 2 is kind of complex, X3 Reunion is pretty complex, Hearts of Iron 3 probably takes the cake. Played it for like 2 hours, had no idea what was going on.

Dwarf Fortress, the only game that can really challenge it for me is Europa Universalis III, but it doesn't even come close to Dwarf Fortress.
