What do you guys think is the most addicting rts game? I am looking to buy a recent game ie: SupCom , DOW, COH or other titles something that will keep me engrossed and playing for a while? Please let me know I am trying to get away from the MMORPG games. I need a break from the exp grind lol. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
those are all great games...especially COH....Supcom is a little to slow for me...but COH on the other hand is full of action from the moment you start playing.
You can't go wrong with CoH or DoW, but you gotta know a lot of stuff for SupCom. So if you are a harcore RTS player, then SupCom is for you. If you can't dedicate all the time and skill, go with the other two.
Problem with RTS games i find is they're sooo limited and there only tends to be one clear route to start out everytime and it gets really boring for me after awhile :\ Specially on Supcom where you start off spending ages building the same crap over and over again.
DOW is a clear winner for me. I have been so obsessed with that game since I first played the original (a while ago, now).
I have tried CnC3, SupCom, CoH, but none of them stood up to the simple enjoyment levels of DOW. SupCom was definitely fun for a while, and made me say "wow" or "woah" many many times, but it just wasn't at all addicting. Very slow-paced, with lots of repetition. With DOW, every game you play is going to be different to any others.
