When I read the title of the topic the first game that came into my head was Supreme Commander but after reading your message I'm thinking you want a shooter rather than and rts. Anyhow as far as RTS games Supreme Commander fits that discription better than any others hands down, don't let any C&C fanboys come on here and fool you by contradicting me.SoulPsychadelic

Strategy: Company of heroes, Supreme Commander, Command and Conquer 3 (?), any total war game (Rome Total War being the latest)

First Person Shooter: Unreal Tournament (won't need a monster rig tho..), Call of Duty 1 or 2, Counterstrike scource (with some mods), Farcry (a bit dated), Stalker (not constant war, but always tension knowing death can be lurking anywere), Max Payne Series, Serious Sam + Painkiller

Diablo 2, Dungion Siege 2 and Titan Quest for action-rpg
