Shadowman for the n64. That game is so freaking scary. The only game I never had courage enough to beat. If you wanna try a good game and have a direct x 9 video card get condemend: criminal origins. gamestop.com or ebgames.com has it for 15$.Unstoppable_1
Yea Condemed, was pretty mad but I found Manhunt quite.... disturbing....
yeah, Call of Cthulhu: DCE gave you a good feeling of uneasiness.
Scratches got me a couple of times while I played that game. So did the Silent Hill games. But only Call of Cthulhu has your guy ripping his eyes out of his head if he looks at something too messed up for too long.

ArcticSnake
Scratches actually scared the bejeezus out of me a few times.
But for wierdness, you cannot beat Sanitarium.

Try DarkSeed 2.
For weirdness probably Prey
Enter a room to look at a small sphere in a box. Step through a portal and you realise the small sphere is a planet in a box, and that normal size enemy that chased you into the room, is now 20 times bigger than the planet!!
S.T.A.L.K.E.R )))
i have played many "disturbing-weird" games, but somehow, stalker brought me the weirdest experience so far...i am fluent in russian..stalker takes the prize for the weirdest game of all time in my opinion ))
infact..it may not seem as weird to those, who are unable to understand every single bit of information..which includes silly jokes from the loners by the fireside..
I've made a point many times when it comes to Stalker. The jokes they tell and stuff like that usually never gets old when you can't understand what they are saying. I'm sure a Russian guy playing the game has heard the same joke many many times.S.T.A.L.K.E.R )))

Call of Cthulhu, Condemned and Manhunt were excellent games and also quite disturbing on different levels. But those games often resolve the tension and destroy the weirdness by showing the player quite a bit of the enemy or implementing violence and action scenes. All this lessens the disturbing impact the game has on me, because the moment I actually see the extent of the menace it's less scary/weird.
"Defcon" - the tactical thermonuclear war game - on the other hand, really got me. The whole concept, setting, presentation and especially the sound effects are all very depressing and suggestive, but the game never actually shows anything disturbing. This was one of the only games I had to stop playing after a while and take a pause, because I couldn't stand the coughing and dying sounds of the victims in the nuked areas anymore.
That effect is probably VERY subjective though.
Aliens vs Predator 2.. In the campaign at the start of the Alien campaign you actually eat your way out of a human stomach. Awesome game, very scary. That part has always stuck with me for being cool but pretty disgusting when you think about it.Rattlesnake_8
AVP 2 was a scary game when you first meet the aliens in the human campaign, but i remeber avp 1 (had a deal with big dog underwear?) and gave you a certficate for one free pair or tighty whiteys
On strange side I would have to say Grim Fandango. Great Game but...... On the scary side I have to go with Thief 3. There is that bit were you have to go to the orphange and find the blood stain of the child. Then have to run around in the place avoiding "care-takers" and the like. I would not do that section at night, and in the day I got so wrapped up that I had to step away a few times.

Ya shadowman was pretty crazy. Especially when you get further into the game. There was a level that had some of the freakiest sounds I have ever heard in the game, baby laughs followed by buzzsaws and other wierd stuff. Plus, the plot to the whole game is crazy. For instance, you are pretty much undead, yet the rastfarian chick uses you as a sex slave lol. Crazy stuff...
Harvester..without a doubt..they made the game to be funny and gross but succeded in getting banned in 63 countries instead which bankrupted merit studios.....
The gross jokes didn't bother me ..the thing about child murder did though.....Anyway it just wasn't fun.....Wading through a cave full of innards was kind of amusing but the gameplay and the fact the graphics were terrible sunk it.

Ya, that was problably the craziest and coolest beginning to a video game.
And you all are gonna call me a pu**y, but I seriously got a little disturbed by the zombies in Half-life 2. I actually almost felt like they were suffering...and blowing the headcrab off of one and seeing their faces of anguish and torment only reaffirmed it. The basic zombie was bad enough, but then seing the big toxic ones with the 4 headcrabs on him was creepy, as was the super fast one since he didnt have any skin and stuff.

I remember seeing this game at CompUSA when I was 10 years old or so. I thought "hmmm this looks scary" but then I couldnt get past the corniess of that guy with the axe against his head. I was 10...and that was too corny for me.
Older games like Sanitarium, Phantasmagoria or Harvester tended to be quite sick.
Newer games just go for the shock and thrills, games like:
Postal 1&2: Just a sick idea in total ( I liked it though )
Manhunt: Whatisthere left to be said ( I liked it )
The Suffering: One of the best modern horror games. Bloody and scary ( I liked it, what a surprise )
SoF 1&2: Good splatter,, but was too simple for me ( Didn't really like it )
Prey: Nothing special, just the organic feel.
[QUOTE="hor3112"]The Sims. Who in their right mind would sit and play a game where you have to do the dishes, clean up, watch tv etc.? It's just extremely weird. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAsaFD9MQ8Iwhats the most weird game youve ever played
