motherboard promblems help me !!!

gota new gigabyte p35c mobo, stoaked as i was i set it up straight away i got the power light on the front of the case to turn on but when i press the power button nothing happens, any suggestions also im running vista premium 32 bit, 8800gt, e4500, ocz 600watt, psu 2 gig 667 fsb ram

Can you explain your proplem in a little more detail i.e... Is it all connected, is it giving its post beeps on start up, do u see anything on start up like the white writing or nothing at all?

The first thing to do is consult your motherboard manual and double-check that all cables and connectors are wired correctly. Just because the power button LED is connected doesn't mean that you have working powerswitch connection from your case to your motherboard.

ijn answer to first question i connected evrything even the way in think the power connectors from case go and im going to try set up again as i think i may have set up the power connectors from case wrong so wish me luck

Best thing to do in this case. I know when building this rig my Antec 900 connectors where very misleading from the directions of the case and MOBO.

got my mobo working think connectors where mixed up anyway only thing is my fan is going full speed any help also i still have a small thermister like piece didn't know if it was an extra are suppoesed to be connected up could it be for sensing cpu tempurature?
