Return to Castle Wolfenstein.

Occasionally during huge leaps in Quake 3 Arena and Unreal Tournament.

It's more like Vertigo for me though.

I've never experienced motion sickness whilst playing a game before. I've known a few people that have though.

Motion sickness seems to be an individual thing. I get it if i read or focus on something inside a moving car for a while, but not on a coach. Or a ferry.

lol, carpal tunnel syndrome- and motion sickness-threads. PC-gaming over too long periods of time not only causes problems because of immobilization of the body, but also gives you these two conditions. Moral is, get out of the house, run, train weights and get some fresh air. Your bodies will thank you.

I get motion sick playing first person shooters on consoles and can only play for about an hour at a time before I feel like I'm going to puke.  Only one game on the PC has ever made me motion sick and that was the boat levels in Half Life 2.  Had to play that section of the game in 10 minute increments, took freaking forever.

I had motion sickness when I was getting my private pilot training. I can suggest that you increase air flow in your room and mess with the resolution of your monitor. If you start feeling sick then look out a window or something (Told me to focus on distant objects). Also supposively avoid eating dairy products (Not sure what this does, I believe it decreases the feeling of throwing up when your under stress because it some molecule that digests milk is also used by the body to ease the feeling of pain in muscles (Thats why if you chug milk after running you will most likely throw up).

I've never felt sick on a boat, car, or anything, BUT one game managed to give me motion sickness and that was HL2 during the boat ride. Took me a great deal of time to beat that part.  :|

I sometimes get motion sickness if i try to read a book while someone is driving me and turning lots of corners.  But i don't get motion sickness from games... but check out my thread on fear of falling.

After being in the Navy and being a sail boat racer, I find that as long as there is something in your stomach you are usually ok.  Prey for the 360 was the only game I had problems with.  I would get headaches and feel sick playing it for any length of time.

The dog-fights in Descent used to make me feel a little queasy after a bit. Something about the graphics and watching the room spin so quick in an environment effectively lacking in any gravity. After a while of that, I had to take a break.

I get motion sickness from HL2, BUT I can play CS:S and Unreal for hours and not get sick at all. Motion sickness is the reason why I never finished HL2.  D:

The worst motion sickness I've ever had was playing Hexen on the N64.

I've only felt motion-sickness twice while playing Alien vs Predator (the first) and Soldier of Fortune (the first). I guess it's because you move so fast.

If I'm getting motion sickness, then the game is doing a good job.  LOL I don't think I've ever gotten motion sickness at all (I'm kinda an adrenaline junkie anyways), but Call of Duty 2 and Killzone had some rather excellent reloading and action animations that really made you feel like you were that person as you'd look at the gun and everything.....especially Killzone it was so cool.  Too bad the game itself wasn't that great :/

I got motion sickness with HL2 when it first came out before they patched the refresh rate bug. I also get headaches on CRTs with any refresh rate lower than 85hz, I have a LCD now though so no more of that. w00t!
