Moving games to new PC

I've been playing Torchlight on my laptop and would like to play on a new laptop. Is there anyway to transfer over my character? I have looked for some files but, really couldn't find anything. The only stuff in the Torchlight folder are files that end in ".dll" or "icons" "music" "programs"...

Also, if I've been using a mod component like Torchleech, can I just install it on the new laptop and select the same mods... assuming I can move the character over.

Any advice would help.

Saved game files are usually under your user folders... Like for instance, click on start... Then click your user name (then go to documents, or just go streight to documents) there you should find the folder, It may be labled Torchlight, or It maybe labled Runic Games (they made it if I remember correctly).. Most of the time, they are not actually in the game folder from the program files folders.

Be sure to put it in the right place in your new rig as well.

Yeah you were right... it was under My Computer, etc. I saw the file with saves/mods.
