hi, i'm tied of single player games, i want to become more involved with multiplayer games. could someone recommend any free multiplayer games, of all types. thanks.

There's some decent free multiplayer games out there..let's see:

FEAR Combat - Multiplayer FPS, this is the full retail portion of FEAR's multiplayer.
Gunbound - Multiplayer Turn-Based Strategy (think Worms)
GunZ The Duel - Multiplayer Shooter..I personally HATED this game, but alot seem to like it.
Silkroad Online - A MMORPG..same deal, I hated it but others like it.
Soldat - A side-scrolling multiplayer shooter..pretty fun back when I tried it out, but also pretty dated now.

Can't think of any more off the top of my head.

enemy territory is getting old, but it's still great fun. Perhaps the most played free game around.
