No, since MGS3 didn't come to PC, neither will MGS4

Besides, PC guys might not understand MGS4 entirely since they didn't play MGS3

BTW, IMO Metal Gear Solid 1 is the best game ever made

P.S. You might wanna try Mass Effect , it has a very cinematic and emotional story like MGS, though not as good as MGS1 or MGS3, but better than MGS2

I know what you mean, but I still cant figure out if I want to spend all that money to play maybe 3 games that I'm interested in. Plus, a 40GB game(mostly uncompressed sound) would take up most of the remaining space on my harddrive.

I'd still buy it if it came out for PC.

I don't even know if the MGS2 port got a decent release here in Australia because I don't remember too many reviews or seeing in the stores that often.

I can't see it coming to PC primarily because Sony has probably cut a deal for it to be a PS3 exclusive, which is fair enough. That platform needs a major title and fast. (Lets not go there for now though).

I tried playing the demo of a ported MGS1 but the controls and camera just felt wrong. I would only want it on PC if it was correctly ported with customised controls and well optimised.

Then again I don't know about this MGS thing - I heard there was like a 90 minute cutscene in it or just some very long cutscenes, particularly at the end- I don't mind if a game is cinematic in its scope but it has to remain as a game and as interactive, not a movie!!

We already have thee number 1 Stealth game on this platform anyhow :P

Oh i also wanted to add one thing more. Journalists (1up,gamespot) are saying this games graphics are the best. Hello crysis i dont understand?. I know that the story, the cutscenes the sounds etc are a great cinematic exp. But they are specificaly are stating this game raises the bar on graphics not in general visuals or a production in general but graphics so what are they smoking is the game acutally better graphically then Crysis?/maden2004

well i applogize for making bad run on sentences post. I just wanted to get the stuff off my chest quick. Also when i said i was wowed when i played msg 2 on the pc was not because of how it played on a pc but the reasons what makes the game so amazing to people which is the story, character and the gameplay. The controlls were god aful for the pc but just great story kept me going. I really haven't played a game where it made want to find out what happens next. Most single player games i dont play more then 10 mins because there usually aint much there for me. But i hope they can release a specail edition of msg 4 for the pc where it gives a good backdrop on the story from the previous game, so the new audience can get attached to the story and understand why is one of the best games. I played msg 2 not knowing to much about the story but when i played it had alot of questions , so i asked my friend who has all msg for his ps2 to tell me a about the story and i kinda understood.

MGS is a tactical espionage action game, it's more like action/sci-fi/stealth/heavy storytelling

Besides, trust me, no steath game compares to MGS

Perhaps again 3-4 years later, when Blu-Ray will be more accesible.

MGS 2 was one of the first games that required a DVD-ROM, I think.
