Not entirely sure what you're asking.

But! Just to say something about gaming and music, have you heard the soundtrack to the fan-made recreation of Half Life, 'Black Mesa'? It's AMAZING.

Yeah I tend to like the Atmospheric music of most games. And for sure the nostalgic feeling you get while listening to older games that you grew up with. And I'm a big music fan all around. Soundtracks fit right into my listening time.

Yes Video game soundtracks & scores are some of my biggest inspiration for music.

I am even working on a few game tracks myself as of late. 

 

Many of the darker soundtracks are among my favorite. 

Take for instance Diablo I, and some of Diablo II.
