Its gonna cost $15 on 360 - you think it'll cost as much on PC? I hope not. Its just 5 freaking maps. FIVE! I dont think thats worth $15 freaking dollars. Money hungry douche bags. Im glad I got it for only $35. Discuss.

DLC was one of the main reasons they removed dedicated servers from the PC version, so that Activision can control everything and server admins could not interfere. You can expect PC users will be expected to pay the $15 along with the consolites for MW2 DLC.

two maps in a game like that sounds big.

anyway, I don't plan on buying this map pack anyway. 15 dollars is enough to get a decent game, why spend it on 5 maps? paying for about 9% of game content with 15 dollars is stupid to me.

im not surprised, they even want to charge a monthly fee for peer to peer play lol. Good ol activision, almost everyhting they put out losses money, when they find something that makes money they squeeze everything they can out of it.

That's an insane number for some map pack ... If they want to sell their product, they should put it up at a more reasonable price. If it was like ... 5$ i could have been interested. but since that's not the case ... back to single play campaign ...

And now expect the PC population of MW2 players to decrease even faster. It's pretty hilarious that COD2 is double as popular, and now is going to be even more.

For an RRP of £40 for the original game, they cannot expect people to continue paying, but since when do Activision excercise rational thinking?

I know i won't be buying these map packs.

I don't think I've ever paid for any DLC ever. It's not justifiable nor worth the money. Companies like Valve have my full respect for games such as TF2 for charging us a fair price and lavishing us with continuing, free support and DLC.

Oh they can expect people to pay and people will. Millions of people already paid full price for the game, the same people will be stupid enough to buy a $15 map pack.

This is really disappointing. There is no way that I will buy it the map pack for my PC copy but I must admit that I will probably buy it on 360.

Weird the standard price for DLC is $10 and they usually offer a lot more. Like General Knoxx for Borderlands is only $10 and that is a substantial DLC.

Hopefully they don't charge on the PC... it will divide the community up on PC. Oh and apparently some of them are just Cod4 maps.... it will be really weird playing cod4 maps in MW2... then we'll truly be able to see how different the game feels.

My only question is, who the hell liked Overgrown enough for them to bring it back for MW2. They could have atleast remade some COD classics like Carentan, Neuville, or Dawnville. What a load.

You and me both man. I was hoping it would be at most $8 or so. But just 5 maps? Argh. This just sucks and I really dont want to put down the cash for BC2 right now. Im trying to just enjoy what Ive got.

Ill prob get called an ass, or whatever, but if you bought the game you have no right to complain. You knew there was a reason as to why they removed dedicated servers and mods tools, yet you still bought the game. .

I have to agree. I thought it was pretty obvious why Activision did what they did about the dedicated servers. It wasnt about cost (considering most servers are run by outside parties at no cost to the developer/publisher), it was all about the control.

Plus, with the higher than usual selling price of MW2 on the PC, it really doesnt suprise me at all they are gouging their customers on this map pack.

One can't complain, there are plenty out there willing to pay that price. My major qualm here is its representation of video gaming as a hobby, there's so many great games out there, if you'd just jettison this weak title and explore with your funds.

$15 is breaking our backs for 5 maps which two are recycled so it is only 3 brand new maps.

It's not just the dlc, it's the whole game. I still enjoy playing it with friends, but other than that I 'm starting to dislike it.

I hope they bring back Killhouse. Even then, 5 maps is not worth 15USD.

I just read the first DLC for BC2 will be free :) Although from what I hear it's only 2 maps but still...Renevent42

Being that they released part of their first DLC pack right at release for Bad Company 2... another 2 maps in such a short period of time is great!

Might I also add that BC2 will have recieved4 maps in less than 3 weeks time vs. MW2 that's been out for how long now and this is their first pack that they are making players PAY FOR... MW2 is still a bucket of fail.
