MW3 vs BF3 ? :shock:

so we have two big titles comming up ...so witch one do you like more and why ?:shock:

Not much is know but ether.

But I suppose going by past game for the both of them have there problems.
Bad company2 was a sniper fest and Sniper LMGs are kind a out there.

CoD black OPs, Killstreaks are kind a OP imo. CoD is more twitch then strategy.

I give CoD black OP 1 up over Bad company2 for having A.I. bots for people to hone there skills at. Now for BF2 I can't speak for I haven't played it yet but I do plan picking it up soon.

One other thing I've notice about CoD black OP's is from perspective it didn't do so hot on the PC then it did Consoles.
So asking a question like MW3 vs BF3 on the PC board is gonna get a little one sided.

I use to play mw on my bros xbox, and after sometime i got vry bored of it. Howver i have been playing bf2 since xmas and havent put it down. The multiplayer is just awesome. This is why i will be picking up bf3 this year :D

Battlefield 3, due I known that will be a game focused in teamwork and task, with superb ballistics and vehicle handling, better browser features and community, and a technology several orders of magnitude ahead of MW3, and that will last popular for years.

CODMW 3 without a doubt, EA is trying to be number 1, and DICE is a very good developer and I expect BF3 to be good, but after all is said and done, COD black ops sold well and continues to sell well and every dev is copying COD, russians invading, middleast fighting, vietnam fighting....

The loss of IW is huge and sad, but I'm sure Activison must realize that with everyone after their crown, that failure is not an option and will make COD MW3 a good game becuase winning the FPS battle is gonna be much more satisfying than winning any other kind of battle.

So I guess I'm just going with history and gut feeling on this one so.... "the break's over roach, let's go".....

Battlefield 3, all the way. Two things I'm worried about it though: the 'nade spamming and the dolphin-diving. Hopefully, they corrected that awful stuff.

BF 3 because worst case scenario it'll be as mediocre as BC 2, which was way better than CoD can deliver nowadays (except singleplayer which I also hate anyway in the new CoD games)DanielDust

The Battlefield franchise did everything before the CoD franchise.

lol is this honestly a serious question? Sorry gonna have to be a biased PC Gamer here, but unless this was posted on System Wars,I think youre going to hear a resounding "BF3" response here :P

Anyway, if you need a more objective answer, here it:

I believe BF3 is going to be the superior game because:

-More capable developer that emphasizes gameplay over brand image
-Emphasis on multiplayer with a purpose
-Track recored of developer leads me to believe that not only will the game feel familiar, but it will improve upon the established formula to provide a fresh experience.
-Prone
-Good mix of sim and arcade
-many more reasons I am too druink to explain

I own the following games from CoD series : CoD,CoD 2 & the expansion pack,CoD 4,CoD MW 2...

I own the following games from Battlefield series : BC 2...

Probably ived played CoD 2 more than any other game that i own(maybe except Oblivion)...you could say iam a CoD fan...wrong!...i was a CoD fan. In every gamer's life,comes a moment when it needs something new something more competitive...well,BC2 win me over because was way more competitive than CoD MW2 or even CoD 4...

Anyways ived played more CoD games than Battlefield but i can safely say that Battlefield games are superior to CoD in every aspect(regarding multiplayer)

But you cannot say that CoD series are crappy games...yes Battlefield games are better but that dosent make CoD crappy...In fact CoD had/has the better singleplayer experience(yeah i know BF are all about the mp)...but there are people out there who wants to play SP more than MP...just coz you dont like it(and I DONT)dosent mean others shouldnt also...we should stop acting like communist...only communist would of ban something only because they didnt like that something...

Anyhow is BF3 for me...i didnt even watch MW3 trailer,i dont watch any news regarding CoD series anymore...and further more iam not obsessed in finding faults in CoD games like others do...thats just stupid....All of you who plays Battlefield games should discuss BF3 not MW3...everybody knows BF is the better game,whats the point of bashing CoD anyhow?

I used to really enjoy COD. Especially CoD2 and 4. But the formula is now so old and repetitive that I have officially given up...or at least thats what I though before I bought Blops.

The game seriosuly needs a revamp. new engine and better gameplay would help out alot.

But in all reality, these 2 games are so different that a comparison is really not fair at all.

I have noticed that BF players seem to be able to tolerate CoD games alot more than the other way around. Many CoD players do NOT enjoy all the running and humping that you have to do in BF to really get into the action.

You have selfish kill hungry/lone wolfplay-style VS.a very team oriented shooter. Of course, not everyone plays like that but each game tends to lean toward it's respective playing style.

BF did vietnam before COD did.... Not quite sure where your getting your standards. The standard is to produce a game every year, and rush it without adding anything really new? I give COD credit for somewhat defining the class system, and I do feel like it is used alot in many games now, but BF has never done anything like that so its hard to compare the two in that sense.
