my 360 display setting is set to 480p but when i change it to 720 the screen..

it seems to zoom in more like it becomes bigger and not everything shows on the screen like when it on 480p but i want it to be on 720 so my games would show more hd doesn anyone know how i could fix it?

Only thing I can think of is that your TV might be one of the older HD sets that aren't widescreen...and can't display HD signals properly.

You dont have an HDTV, you have a progressive scan tv would be my guess. Whether its a 4/3 or 16/9 shouldnt matter since the 360 should auto detect whether its widescreen or not. If it doesnt, then your s.o.l. and thats pretty pathetic if the 360 is 16/9 only.

Make sure it can display 720p. The older ones only can do 1080.

its an hd it says it on the tv
