I just noticed this today. When the computer is off, and I flip the switch on my power supply, it begins to buzz. Is it normal for a power supply to buzz? It's been exceptionally hot and humid for a couple of days now, could that have something to do with the buzzing?

You migh have a lot of dust in your computer or a cable is making contact with a fan resulting in a buzzing sound.

No, it can't be that. When my computer is off, and the power supply is flicked on, there is a buzzing sound. If I unplug the power supply, the buzzing stops. It has to be the power supply. Is this normal?

Definitely not normal. In fact, I just replaced an Antec supply on one of my systems for a similar issue (mine was more a high-pitched whine than a buzz). You might want to replace that ASAP.

LMAO! just keep a fire extinguisher close by. that will fix it and of course a budget set for a new power supply.

I've always heard the same with mine since it was new and it's been working fine for 2 years =/
