So yesterday I bought Dead Rising 2 on Steam. I waited 2 hours for it to download and when it did some weird Microsoft "first time" box showed up. I clicked next and then for a split second I saw a loading bar show up and then nothing happened. Now when ever I click play nothing happens. I re-downloaded it and it still doesn't work. What do I do?

Check the Steam forums.. a bunch of people have been having trouble.

I would manually run the GFWL package from the dr2 folder inside steam to make sure the new version of GFWL is installed properly. Then you can open it from Start -> Programs and log in to make sure it works. Also, make sure your sound playback device is set to 24-bit/48 kHz or you may crash upon startup.

You can always download the GFWL software/program from GFWL. I always do that on a fresh re-install of Windows before installing any game that requires GFWL ( and a lot of them do). Seems to work out better then when the game itself needs to install it...you already have your account info..no need to stop in the middle of install to get one etc. A lot smoother to have it pre-installed and patched before installing any GFWL game.
