Drop the Q9400 and get the E8500 or E8600. Quad Cores aren't good for gaming unless they are highly clocked (compared to Dual Cores). Unless you are doing Multi-threading applications on your PC.Unfortunately high clocked Quad cores are pricey. Good Video Card, can't find it online.. lol

if you haven't bought it yet swap the cpu to a faster dual such as the e8xxx as they give better performance in games, then 4870 is also better than the 9800.

Hell no quad core is the way to go. Gta 4 already needs quad core to run smoothly.

it will run fc2 max or close to max, its low highend/performance, sure isn't midrange, that's something like a 9600gt

for gaming there is no performance boost in 95% of games going with quad, right now duals are much better value for just about everything excpet video editing where quads can be used. you have to spend alot to get the same perforance in games from a quad that you get from a dual for half the price

The guy was sort of wrong. You have a high end graphics card, the 9800gtx is very fast. Consider it a BMW, almost a Mercedes Benz, but a little bit less.

95% of games are also GPU limited, so once your above a certain CPU level, its not going to make much of a a real world difference...
