im thinking of getting an MMO for my new rig but im not sure what game to get. so im wondering if there is any good mmo with no fees whatsoever like WoW.

Perfect World (international) is similar to WoW, but set in a mythical, ancient version of China. It's free to play, and admittedly is pretty fun. Its the best free MMO I've played. There are some problems with the game, but it's a free MMO. It is what it is.

maybe the reason i never liked mmo is that ive never played a good one aka one thats not free.

Guild Wars is a ton of fun, get that.

Guild wars is a great MMO with no monthly fee. Altough the game and all it's expansions might get a littly pricey, and trust me if you start playing the original you feel compelled to get the expansions. Also like the title states it's about Guilds, so most of the best side of the game involves a group of friends. G12aat

Rather:

Free MMO's = P2P MMO's, except that they don't lie to you about the endless grinding, they just throw it in your face. Instead WoW for example where they try to make you get into the sorry excuse for a story first.
