How old is your friend? Gonna be hard for Michael Dell to argue that he looked 18 if he's not, I say file charges :)

OMG, that is the best 1300 dollar computer Ive seen in all my days!!!

just kidding! you could build that for, oh say 800 to 850 dollars, depending on if you want a monitor, and what edition of windows vista you want.

My god, how could someone pay 1300 dollars for that?! That is in American dollars right?

Actually, it's not that bad but the price could be a little better.

You being his friend should have offered to build a rig together,

but sometimes the cash just isn't there and I know from past experiences (er umm mistakes) Dell makes computers pretty afforable like $40.00 a month?

Its a start!

Yeah, you won't be getting very good parts other than the 8800GTX.

You'd almost have to go out of your way to get screwed like that. Did he get a monitor, kb, mouse, etc?

You're not giving us the whole story, because I just configured one with a 19" Monitor, E6300, 250GB HDD, X1300, speakers, keyboard, mouse, vista and some other stuff for $1100 bucks.

i just configured one with the same specs listed by the TC and it was 1500 with a 22inch widescreen monitor and an e6300 instead. This is a prebuilt so theres gunna be a bunch of hidden fees. Labour and BS. Warranty and a lot of other things. Not to mention its dell and they sell a lot of their products at higher prices then others. I mean they have the GTX for 1000CAD
