I've had my logitech g7 mouse for about 3 years now and have just started having this problem a few days ago. In 1 out of 4 clicks on the left mouse button, it will double-click. It's very annoying because it opens up programs and files that I don't want opening. Plus when I close out web pages, it closes 2 of them causing me to lose my work online. The mouse sensitivity is way to high!

Like I said, this is the first time I've encountered this problem and I've gamed and been suring online for hundreds of hours. I haven't changed any setting either. I also tried adjusting the mouse double-click speed with the same results.

Is my mouse just now biting the dust? or is there something I can do about it?

Thanks.

i think the is a pretty common problem with logitech G7 contact logitech customer support , and u might get a replacement G9 because the G7 was discontinued for this and a multitude of other problems. I have a G7 and so far so good, only 6 months though, a few signal losses/ cut offs about 5 but i like wirless mice.

Thanks. I've contacted customer support about it and we'll see how it goes. This is a phenominal mouse so it's a really a shame. Is the G9 cordless? I'll have to look into that one if mine can't be fixed.
