I just ordered a new PC with a evga 480 gtx card, i5 quad core 2.66 processor, windows 7 home 64 bit, 8 gigs ddr3 ram with 1333 MHz, 80 gb intel ssd drive, and 1.5 TB 7200 seagate drive. if my research serves me correct i think i ordered a pretty kick ass computer. i was just wondering if anyone has this graphics card (480 gtx) and what they run crysis and crysis warhead at? any setting to recommend?

I also ordered some extra goodies, the nvidia 3d vision glasses, alienware 23 inch 120hz monitor, logitech g27 steering wheel.

If anyone could recommend any good games that work well with the 3d kit that would be great? (i have fallout 3, crysis, crysis warhead, batman arkham asylum, and metro 2033)

Also, as I will soon have the g27 steering wheel, and only have Gran turismo prologue , please let me know any recommendation you have for ps3 or pc racing games that utilize the g27 well?

any recommendation on mounting kit for the g27 without a seat or with seat?

thanks for all your help.

In terms of components, that is a very good computer. The GTX 480 is the most powerful single-gpu in the market, albeit not the most efficient. It should be able to handle Crysis with very respectable frames.

In terms of recommendations for games, try out Metro 2033, STALKER (Shadow of Chernobyl is the best version, imo), Battlefield Bad Company 2, GRID, Dirt 2, and Dragon Age: Origins. All those games are very good for their respective genres, and won't disappoint.

Nah, he just needs a 120hz monitor. They just bundle the 2233RZ as it was one of the first LCD monitors to have the 120hz capability.
