Im wondering what game people would reccomend more between the following..

- Rome Total War

- Warhammer 40,000:Dawn Of War

- Medieval II: Total War

- Settlers Pack (Heritage Of Kings and Rise Of An Empire)

and

- The Longest Journey and Dreamfall (played TLJ before but not the sequel)

So yeah, i know the first 3 games are totally differnt genre then the last one, but just let me know what game you enjoyed the most and would reccomend to play first.

Thanks in advance for any input as im looking for my next older game that i missed out on!

Medieval 2 is an incredibly deep experience, and its hard to choose between it and Rome. Rome is much cheaper though.

Longest Journey is just immense, best adventure game ever, you gotta get that.

Dawn of War is fun, bu the Total War games are more satisfying.

Never liked Settlers Games, if you want a fun RTS, go with DoW, and if you want one with history, go for AoE2 or Medieval 2.

Rome: Total War or Medieval 2. You can't lose with either.

Rome: Total War is my favourite on that list. But I recommend Medieval 2 anyway, it's more advanced gameplay and graphics wise. I heard the A.I.'s retarded, though.

Tough call. Medieval 2 or Rome definiteley. By the way, even though Medieval 2 is about two years old, it still holds up well to today's standards, IMO.

Grrr my PC's Disk Drive isnt recognising Kingdoms :(

Kingdoms is probably the best expansion pack I've ever bought for a game though.

So much content....

Get all of them but The Settlers pack. If you want The Settlers you had better getThe Settlers II: 10th Anniversary.

Well it doesn't sound like you can go wrong any way. Personally I think Medieval 2 is the best game on the list. The longest journey and dreamfall are excellent. Those would be the two best options I think. The Settlers series has gone downhill lately, not because its not good but because it just hasn't changed much.
