Hey guys, I need some help with a little project I am trying to pull off. I have a 360 and a "gaming PC" My TV is really old and I would like to hook up my 360 to my monitor. Now I know a lot of people keep telling me to get the Xbox 360 VGA HD AV Cable. But how would I get sound out of this?

My Monitor: http://www.canadacomputers.com/index.php?do=ShowProduct&cmd=pd&pid=012286&cid=MT.983

My Speakers:

I plan on getting an adapter so I can switch from my 360 to me PC for the monitor.

Have you ever done this or anything like it? And how much do you think it will cost me? $100?

well i dont have a 360...ps3 for me...so i used hdmi-dvi not vga

first off,is ur 360 one with an hdmi out? or does ur monitor have a vga input?

i know they sell 360 vga cables. microsoft 360 vga cable $35

optical cable $15

I'm not 100% sure this combination setup with work for u, becuase i havent done it before first hand. But its ur best bet. Someone will have to confirm it for me. If you do have vga input then im 99.99% sure it will work for u, and its only $50

I have done this and hooked it up to my Z-5500's. Just get the microsoft vga cable and a optical cable, the vga is 40 and an optical is around 10.
