So i built my pc last summer and honestly haven't really played any games since winter. I have been very busy, however i am very excited for starcraft 2 and would like to know how my pc will handle it on high settings at 1680x1050? I assume good? Also are there any weak parts / bottlenecks? thoughts? I have an x3 720be (overclocked to an x4 3.4ghz) 4gb ddr3 ram a saphire 4890oc 1gb Thanks p.s also curious how it will hold up over the next year with new games coming out, any chance at crysis 2?

You're set for at least 3 years...

Unless DX11 games (mind you, WORTHWHILE ones) just magically start appearing ofc. Which I don't see happening, what with the DX9 consoles holding the whole thing up. Stupid consoles, go die.

You're good for another year or two. You'll be able to run StarCraft at that resolution without a problem.

I think you should get it a cake to celebrate. Maybe some strippers.

Very good PC why upgrade unless you are an enthusiast gamer that wants to see the best graphics in the world. Then sell your 4890 and get the 5870 and get a monitor 1920x1080. Other than that ill be very happy with what you currently have at least till the next gen starts. Because games are developed for consoles of this gen that dont require much horsepower unless they are terribly optimized.
