My PC is on Defrag for 10 hours now...

Should i turn it off restart and try again? And it annoys me because on Vista you can't see the progress it just says this will take several mins/hours...HA. If i restart it will it take ten hours or more again?

How long has it been since you last defragged and how much space is used up?

Ehmm...A lot and a lot. No wonder it ran like crap. I used to do it like every time i install something but it didn't help at all i still got Stuttering in Stalker and Oblivion so i stopped doing it. Guess i only have myself to blame.

It's better to keep defragging in one go instead of stopping it then turning off your PC.

Just leave it on the whole night if you have to.

Next time use auslogics disk defrag, it shows ur progress and lets u put the program on priority so it works faster, and its free ;P

I did leave it trough the night :D. It's 7:40 in the morning. I wanted to do some heavy gaming tonight but i guess nothing of that. Ill sleep now, i will leave it and see if it's still there when i wake up. Thanks for response guys.

this. download the latest version, it just came out, and it defrags much faster than the previous version.
