From what I hear, the stock cooler for the 940 Deneb is supposed to be fairly good. Now if you go after a 720 AM3, then definetly get another cooler as they look like the couldn't cool a Pentium 1.

Checked your mobo and your cpu and everything looks fine with the current BIOS. Good EVGA video card and RAM looks fine. The 620TX is a good little PSU although I picked up the 620HX modular PSU and I love the way the setup the modular cables to make it easier to cable tie and keep out of the way (Its in the $150 dollar range at this time, though.). You might also want to take a look at the Western Digital Caviar Black 500GB WD5001AALS, they aren't as fast as the Seagates, but they are good reliable drives.

Also, I see case fan, but I don't see a case on this list. You using a particular case?

You also might want to look at getting a $20 dollar DVD-ROM as I have found that some gaming discs do not like any of my DVD-Writers and won't allow me to play on any of them.

everything looks good, I have the 940 and it is a nice cpu. Depending on what case you choose you might not need the extra case fan. I have the same psu and it has a tone of cables and they are more then long enough.. your OEM HDD and DVD drive wont come with any SATA cables but the picture of the Motherboard shows it comes with plenty

I wrote my comment about the case fan before you posted your case and I am not 100% sure about it but it looks to me like where the front case fans would go would be a 120mm fan instead of an 80mm fan someone that has the case might be able to give you a positive answer on that

Not sure what you mean by warranty, you mean they are offering an extended warranty on it?

I do not know anything about there extended warranties, I have never worried about it, I have never had a problem with anything I have ordered from them.. also on your shipping from them, I would just do the standard delivery. I have never had an order take more then 3 days to be delivered once it is shipped. meaning if I order on Monday I have it at my door on Thursday..

sounds good. Got a qustion about my case fan some one told me on the gamefaqs forums I "don't think your "case fan" will fit. You need something that supports socket AM2". Is this true? if so can you recommend something?

Drkstorm37 has a good point, I wouldn't worry about the extended warranty either. Everything I have ever purchased from them has worked fine (except for the BFGtech/DFI motherboard I purchased. I knew I should have stuck with Gigabyte!) as well. Their standard shipping might as well be called 3-day. The only problem I have had with it is that UPS likes to leave $2000 dollars worth of computer hardware on my doorstep without ever ringing the door bell. Thank goodness I have two good dogs that work fairly well in that area. lol

I wonder if he is talking about your heatsink for the CPU? As your getting the 940 Deneb, the heatsink is a well built heatsink fan. Although, I'm not sure about its overclocking potential. Also, the case fans on the Three Hundred use 120mm fans as you have 2 optional for in front and a slim 125x25mm for the side. It comes with a 120mm outtake on the back and the 140mm outtake on the top of the case.

I don't know a lot about ASUS monitors, but I am a big fan of Samsung. I have an old 20" 932BW on my old pc, a new T260 25.5" ready for my new PC and a nice 32" Samsung HDTV for console gaming and movies.

The Case fan has nothing to do with socket AM2, so like vicsrealms was saying I would think they mistaked the case for for the cpu fan, the cpu fan that comes with the 940 is a good quality fan, I went with something different because of overclocking but the stock fan has 4 heat pipes and copper base,, and yes the monitor you ordered with work fine

In the future make only 1 thread because all i see is your stupid threads about this stuff. No the guy knows nothing a case fan has nothing to do with socket type. Your build was fine when you created it from the threads so you could have just posted it in your last thread. When you order let us know! (in this thread don't make another one for that)
