Umm yeah, your PC sucks, and I doubt AC2 or really any modern games will run... 1GB RAM and a 6150LE? Its all stock?Captain__Tripps
Yeah, no offense blacknight, but your PC is about as powerful as a very low end netbook. And when I say "very low end netbook" I mean similar to an old Windows 98 based PC that's been bludgeoned by an iron baseball bat beyond recognition, blown up and then been outfitted with a CD drive and a power cord. Again, no offense (by the way, this is a PC your thinking of getting, not already have, correct?).
edit: By the way, I used to have a PC like the one I described. The only thing I could get to run on it was "Zoo Tycoon". It was crap, but god, I loved it.

Mate, with 700 bucks you could get a 800-1k power supply, a ATi Radeon 5870, and a Core i5 or Phenom x3 black edition, and a killer motherboard.
Do you really think buying that is the best idea?

Wrong, that would be a good netbook, a 6150le is much faster than an intel intergrated gpu.[QUOTE="Un_Ordinateur"][QUOTE="Captain__Tripps"]Umm yeah, your PC sucks, and I doubt AC2 or really any modern games will run... 1GB RAM and a 6150LE? Its all stock?JigglyWiggly_

Who cares, lowend/highend netbook, his pc still sucks and won't be playing AC2 anytime soon lol.Add some ram, and a low end video card and you'll be playing better and cheaper than a PS3...Wow i think it would be cheaper if bought a PS3

Its not hard, but if thats your skill level and you actually bought that system for that price... A console is probably more up your alley lol.Yea..
I have no idea how to do that
thanks tho..

Exactly my point. I was going to say high end, but I thought saying "Low end" would drive my point through a bit more.
Edit: that's your current rig? Might want to think about upgrading...

NVM Didn't see the user.
If you really want to play games, build your own computer.

Oooo, ick.
Building PC is not difficult at all. Trust me, with a little bit of patience and some help from members on GameSpot, you can build a great PC. The sense of accomplishment when you turn on the power and everything working smoothly is amazing. chandu83Correct I built mine when I was 11-12.
Hell yes I would take it, why wouldn't you? Just a spare pc, make it a firewall or something. Though these days I have too many spare pcs, clusters are my solution, except I have nothing to computate :PIf HP offered me free PC i would say nein danke
and that stuff about RAM overheating
when somebody tells me they've bought HP i just
hug them and say 'i know i know feel your pain''

Those people buying pre-built PC's get so suckered it's ridiculous.$659.99 is a deal? for a turd lol, more like 159.99. It's cheaper If you build your own but since you have no knowlege of building a PC you can always take It In and have someone build It for you..

Mate, build a new PC, trust me, you won't regret it. To keep it budget only upgrade the actual computer, leave monitor and everything else. Get a phenom dual core, a 4870 and 4GB ram.polarwrath11Quad core or bust. More and mroe games need quad cores so it will be kinda foolish not to use a quad core cpu if you build a a pc nowadays.

What games require a quad core, other than GTA4 which was a poorly optimized turd? None that I'm aware of.
Also, telling someone to "just build a new PC" isn't very helpful. Most people don't know how, and even if they could figure it out, wouldn't have the dedication to keep it up to date.
I no longer build computers for friends who aren't already pretty knowledgeable about PCs. It ends up being a waste of time. Either they'll be calling me all the time for tech support, or they get frustrated and go back to gaming on consoles.
So there's no point in even adding anything to it, and i should just get a new PC and add stuff to that one

no, you should build ur own PC from scratch. Its not as hard as it seems. Its actually rly easy. If you dont know where to start we can help you. You can get an extremely good rig for 700-900 that would have cost u 3000 if u bought it from a store or from another company.
Just sell anything on craigslist or ebay that you are willing to part with or just don't use anymore. Personally I'm selling all my game consoles :). Sorry but once you truly experience PC gaming you will realize that consoles just don't offer the same experience. So there's no point in even adding anything to it, and i should just get a new PC and add stuff to that one
