ok, I ordered a PC that hasan I7 2600k CPUand an ASUS P8P67 Deluxe motherbaord, and I didnt use net for a couple of days and know I now that it has a problem with the SATA ports, My PC arrives next week, and I live in iraq and theirs NO WAYto return that PC to america again!

I will be using one hard drive and one optical drive, what should I do? Do I really have to do everything possible to return it?

There's only like a 5% chance of it having the issue. In all liklihood, you'll be fine.

Are you talking about the few that have been reported as having problems?

Those people are in the vast minority and these problems are always heard whenever new hardware is released. You will have to be very unlucky to receive one that has a problem or comes from a faulty batch.

avoid the sata 3gb/s slots and use the 6gb/s slots

should I use 6gb/s for both the HDD and the DVD drive? exepit that problem theirs nothing else to worry about?

Yes. use 6gb/s slots for both and no, that's the only problem .

Just use the 6gb ports and you will be fine if you have to use the 3gb ports just use the dvd drive with that.

Wait a month or two and your manufacturer will swap it for a brand new one thats got the bug removed...until then DONT WORRY, YOU WILL BE FINE!
