Yeah, but were they showing it running in DX10 at E3? I know at least all the previews before E3 that we had seen only had the game running in DX9, but I'm not sure about E3 itself. If they were then you're probably right about it running well on a system like that.
But if it wasn't running in DX10 then we still don't have any idea how well it will run.
Yea it was DX10 bud, go to gametrailers.com and you can check out some of the DX10 walkthrough with crysis.Yeah, but were they showing it running in DX10 at E3? They posted an estimate of the system requirments on their site:

Looks like it wont need a top-o-the-line rig.
That is not a crysis site. The gamespot preview said they were using an 8800GTX and 4gb of ram and the game slowed down during explosions etc and it wasn't on the highest settings. The game is not complete as yet though.DeihmosPeople should be worrying about running this game at high resolutions rather then low so Im 100% sure it will run at max on lower resolutions but the question is how would it run at high resolutions with current hardware. You may not get 60fps lock on max settings at high res but 30-40 fps is acceptable for the visuals this game is offering.

Most of the discussion these days is about running it maxed-out though...
If you read the new crysis intervivew on the site the develper is saying the game is running on an 8800 and with 2 gigs of ram and it was running perfect...They are making it so lower spec systems can handle it to.. My new system has sli 8800 GTS 640 mb and 4 gig of ram with vista and a quad core will see how it runs but im assumin it should run it all on max
No way you'll need 4gb Ram to max it at 1280x1024 for e.gdayaccus007This is false and giving alot of people down hopes.Them monitors that Crysis were displaying on were not 1280x1024 which is 4:3.A quad core with a 8800GTX should pull this game through for high resolutions max settings.
I highly doubt it ran on that resolution or will run that resolution on almost max settings.
They demoed it at E3 on an 8800GTX and said for the most part it ran smoothly on very high, which they said wasn't their highest setting.
LOL everyone seems to believe the current top dog system will max out this game. It will not. Perhaps if u go crossfire or sli you can but on a single 8800GTX from what they are saying you will not max out the game. It is not terribly far off release and they are demoing it on a notch or 2 below max and it doesn't run flawless. Sure they will probably tweak it some but i don't think they're going to get it running on max settings on 1 8800GTX without the frames being fairly low.
If you own an 8800GTX then ya ur going to have a great time but don't kid yourself your going to max it out with good frame rates.
Im gonna link you two videos and please tell me the resolutions they were running on.Also in one of the videos that include Crysis running on a quad-core you will see just what the employee mentions about the performance the only concern was the speed in which Im sure was doing 30fps lock.I highly doubt it ran on that resolution or will run that resolution on almost max settings.

There's new information about Crysis from Campus Party where Peter OReilly showed off the game. Ultimo Nivel site had written great and interesting articles. Seems that Crytek's title is running on PC with specs C2D 6420/ 2 GB of RAM /8800 (GTS or GTX) Windows Vista at 1024 x 768. I must enphasize the importance of framerate with settings high.

I dont read spanish and them screens are alot smaller then the screens at E3 giving both were running on vista only difference were 4 gigs of ram to 2 gigs of ram so I dont know how can it impact that much from just ram when stuff cant even excel 2 gigs. However if this is true it will be a big dissapointment for alot of people putting down alot of money on rigs to run it DX10 and getting bad performance. There's new information about Crysis from Campus Party where Peter OReilly showed off the game. The person who writes these article has built the PC than ran Crysis, but after that guys from Crytek would change something, I think so. Peter OReilly said him an important frase " if you bought 2 years ago a good PC, you'll be able to play Crysis without any problems." dandidoOh I see thx for the news bud.:o
