weeeeeeeeeeell i have a vizio vp322 and in the manual it says the resolution is 1024x720 or something similar but correct me if im wrong this should mean my tv cant do 1080p right?but here is where im confused the ps3 has a function that adjust the display setttings to their optimal levels once i have done this the tv says its displaying 1080p i tried 1080i and 720 to see if theres a difference and there is the text looks bigger in 720 and everything looks like its vibrating in 1080i so is there typo in the manual or is my lying to me or is it something im not aware of?

If your PS3 is displaying the image at 1080p and your TV is displaying it, then your TV is capable of showing 1080p. Otherwise the screen would just be black. From the info in your manual it seems that the TV is just upscaling the signal because your tv's native resolution is 720p.

I disagree. You will be able to see big differences from 720p to 1080p in screensizes from at least 40", but 32" is a little small for 1920x1080. Your TV projects a native 720P signal, and I recommend using the 720P option on your PS3.

PS3 games display 720p, not 1080p. The only thing that displays in true 1080p are blu-ray movies.
