I wasn't sure where to post this query but here it is. Being a newbie to Co-Op Gaming on the PC, I was wandering, If I wanted to play a 2 player Co-Op game like Conflict: Denied Ops with my brother, Would I need 2 PC's linked together in the same room to play in Co-Op???... Any replies would be appreciated, or links/articles relating to Co-Ops for beginners. Kind Regards.

I'm thinking if your on the same network or connected by a crossover cable you should be able to play each other on a LAN setting for co-op. I don't know how the game works for finding Co-Op. If the CDO allows you to browse for hosted co-op games, then you could have one computer host a server and have the other computer join that server.

As long as your 2 computers are on the same network you should be able to play together without accessing the internet. Without your computers connected through a router, you'll both need internet connections to play together.
