Ok, finally after 10 days ( next day delivery is really gettin faster these days  ) Ive got my AMD Athlon 64 600+ X2 socket AM2

Now i need a Cpu cooler..

i was looking at some Zalman coolers on ebay for around £40-£50

Came across a Zalman CNPS9700 Cooler

Would that be a good cooler for my new processor?

Also, with regards to the "custom mount" thing that Zalmans Have.. Are they easy enough to fit??

Personally, I'd go for the Thermalright Ultima 90, and pick up a decent 92mm fan.
