Ok so my current computer is due to be scrapped since it's constantly breaking on me.

Thing is i don't have much cash at the moment so im looking for a gaming PC for under/around the £250 mark.

I only need the tower s i have a decent monitor/kerboard/mouse.

P.S I DON'T WANT TO BUILD IT MYSELF.

Thanks :)

Thats not really enough money to buy a decent gaming setup. The cheapest way would be to build it yourself, but you definitely can't get a pre-built gaming pc for that much.

Not for gaming, it isn't. It's designed for playing Blu-Rays, and not much else.

If you want to even consider playing games on a $500 computer, you'll have to build it yourself. There was a list I put together for around that much that much, so I'll see if I can find it.

yeah not brilliant but the CPU is good and it has a lot of RAM. perhaps save up for a better card and stickwith that for the meantime. Really, for the pricethe CPU and RAM plus HDD are really good and will last for 2 years easily

* 128MB ATI Radeon HD 2400 Pro graphics card

Is not a gaming card. When you get it spend the £50-100 for getting you a card, that will actually allow you to play games got the next 1-2 yeard. Of course, if you stay away from newer games, that is a different situation. HOMM3 does not require much in terms of graphics :)

BTW - your card probably won't be able to run Vista in its Aero mode.

Edit: Check this from some hints about low price cards with decent performance

Yeah every but the GPU and powersupply is fine. Once you get to the computer stick with games from like 04-05 and then upgrade the two when you have the money.
