I need a decent graphics card, because the mmorpgs that im playing atm are lagging and i need to reduce the resolution and other things in order to play. Ive been using the same graphics card that my computer came with 4 years ago >.>. So does anybody know of a good decent graphics card that i can buy that isnt too expensive? Oh and also since this is my first time with a graphics card can you guys explain the basics, and how do you install the new graphics card and take out the old oneo.0? Something i had to edit in cause i just found out, where do i go to check what my computers specs are, to see which graphics card is best for my comp?

What is your motherboard? Does it have a PCI, PCI-E or AGP or combination?

What is your processor?

Whats the specs of your PSU?

If you got answer to these questions it makes life a lot easier.

when hes talking about ur mother board he means the type of connection u have inside ur computer for the graphics card this is important

and for psu he talking about the power supply of the computer and he wnats to know how many watts it has as for newer cards u will need at least a 400 watt power supply if not more.

u could find this out by opening ur pc and checking out what connection ur mother board and see how many watts ur psu has has or u could run a scan that will tell u everything u need to know about ur computer.

You can run this free program, it will give you your specs: http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html. As someone mentioned, check the label on your PSU for it's specs. Or check your online manual for your computer.
