Need a good FPS/ good game period for the PC any advice?

I love games like the half life series, orange box, crysis, mirrors edge. one game i didnt like i played was on 360 that was borderlands, not really into the whole rpg/fps genre. so can anyone recommend anything good? oh and third person is fine too :)

Doh I was going to recommend you borderlands! Its wierd what kind of games people like. See you like the half life series, crysis, mirrors edge and didn't like borderlands. I hated crysis, like the half life series and mirrors edge, and love borderlands so far. Recommending games is difficult. Every user has their own specific taste.polarwrath11

The Witcher and Mafia. imo, these are tied with half life 2 as the best games ever (that i have played) and therefore are highly recommended.

if you like third person stealth/action at all, you should really try Hitman Blood Money.

Call Of Juarez Bound in BLood is a smashing game as well.
