i read a couple of reviews saying the headset was tight and uncomfortable. i have a large head (heh....but yeah i really do) so this may be a problem for me. comfort is a big issue, but i want good sound quality.

I bought a pair of SpeedLink Medusa 5.1s a while ago and I have to say I was VERY impressed with them. The only thought I have found with them is that with heavy use the foam ear cups can fall off and there hard to reattach unless your good with a knife or some sort of thin stick. But I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

Look for the Sennheiser headphone which uses a mic. Highly recommended.

man....i really dont know what to pick. i dont want to spend over $100 on headphones because i dont play pc games THAT much, but i will be playing more and more because my first child is due in march and my wife always tells me to turn down the sound of my games....so i need a good headset under $100. every headset i look at seems to be decent, but usually has one con that just blows it. i looked at these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836504001 but they apparently break real easy. i like the headphones that cup your ear, so im not all that excited about the seinheiser models. id like to have noise cancelling, good mic, 5.1 sound, cup the ear style headphones, and durability....without spending over $100. is this not possible??

that steelseries headset looks cool and got some good reviews from trustedreviews. the only problem is that they said that after a couple of hours, they start to weigh down on your ears. they recommended the other headset here for this http://www.trustedreviews.com/multimedia/review/2006/09/09/SteelSeries-SteelSound-5H-v2/p1 anyone have these?
