Im going to be getting a new headset tonight and would love to know what everyone is using and if they like it or not. Recommendations are also welcome. I have no idea what I should get so Im open minded.

What's your budget? A great $50 headset is the Plantronics GameCom 377. I recommend it because I own it, but its a great headset that holds up to MUCH abuse. I've sat on it, jumped on it, dropped it, still looks like its new, functions just as well as it did out of the package.

I had the chance to use a set of Logitech Gaming Headset G330 and found it really comfortable to wear while giving decent audio and mic. Also a price tag that doesn't break the bank

Nope the G35 is just too much cash. Look at the logitech G330 headset I plan on getting that headset sometime next month.

What about the Logitech G35?

those have received excellent reviews from what I've seen, nice option to change from stereo to virtual surround too. Seems that its Dolby Headset supports 7.1 sound. I'd personally recommend tritton AX 51 pro if you like surround. I have the older gen AX360s and love them, though I'm planning on getting the AX51 Pros for the better sound quality. Mic is excellent, never once had a problem with it.

Another option is getting a Zalman clip-on mic (only say that one because of reviews) and a really good pair of headphones such as the Sennheiser HD555s. Very nice headphones that are above PC headsets in SQ.
