I am looking to buy a new monitor, but have no idea what to get. So hopefully you guys can point me in the right direction, so I can get the best deal. Would be nice if it was in the $200 range. Thanks!

There are a few IPS panels you can get in that price range.

I have a Yamakasi Catleap Q270 SE. They are sold on Ebay for around $400. There is a risk of getting a faulty monitor, but if you get a good one, they are probably the best monitors out now for the money. They're 27" 2560x1440 IPS LED Backlit and look amazing. THe only downside is the stand is pretty wobbly

I've gamed on two different IPS monitors (HP and Dell panels) and I've never had any issues. Just double check user reviews for particular models before pulling the trigger. This LG IPS panel would be my recommendation for your price range

This was $200 at Best Buy not too long ago. 24"/1080p/3D. I'd buy one if there was any in stock.
