ok im looking for a good video card to run oblivion im thinking about about geforce 7950gt 512mb but im not sure if it will run well enough or would it be worth it to go ahead and get a 8800 gts (the lower end version thats in the 300's)

You would be much better off with a 8800GTS 320mb.
