I want a cheap gaming computer. I can't decide if I should get a laptop or a desktop because I've never really thought about the pros, and cons of each except for the fact that a laptop is portable. Also, I don't want a top of the line PC that could run Crysis perfetcly, but I want to be able to play good recent games like Half Life 2. I guess you can see that I really have no idea what I'm talking about.

If you could just recommend the best cheap computers for gaming, I'd really appreciate it, thanks.

Note: I live in Ontario, Canada so ordering from Alienware (I know they're expensive but whatever) isn't the best idea.

A good desktop is the best choice, laptops are expense. And desktops are a lot easier to upgrade. Do you plan to buy a pre-built or will you be building it yourself? Budget?

Don't buy too cheap, otherwise you would be more happy with a xbox360 or PS3. Get a socket 775 board and at least 800w power supply
