OK, I'm a big FPS player and I've just started playing RTS seriously....but i suck sooooo bad...I always get owned by the computer on easy....specially at company of heroes..and sometimes at supreme commander....the only ones I can beat are lord of the rings battle for middle earth and command and conquer 3 demo...just because I can built defenses and gather a huge army that i can unleashed on the enemies....but then, its only on medium and easy difficulty
there's battle for middle earth 2, also Rise of Legends, sounds like you like to turtle, Dawn of War is also an ok game to turtle in, get Dark Crusade, its a stand-alone expansion with 7 different races to play, some turtle better than others.
You got beat on supreme commander with AI on easy...maybe you should stick with fps's. jk anyway dawn of war is good I would recommend command and conquer first decade, warcraft 2, 3 and starcraft. Age of mythology is fun and as is rome total war and rise of nations.
Ok thank you guys but i think I wasn't clear in my question...I don't want rts games suggestions, I need advice on how to get better at those rts games (specially company of heroes)
Rise of Nations is the best RTS. Each game is different so I can't tell you how to get better, just follow the tutorials if the game has one. I also enyoyed fate of the dragon.
The only other RTS game I had played previously was Rome Total War(awesome game), but when I got my new PC and got COH I really struggled also, on easy skirmish I kept on loosing until I got used to it and now I am much better, with COH just keep practising skirmish before the main campaign, I gaurentee you will get much better:D
