Corsair TWINX Dual Channel 2048MB PC5400 DDR2 667MHz Memory (2 x 1024MB):

here

or

OCZ Dual Channel XTC 2048MB PC5400 DDR2 667MHz Gamer Memory (2 x 1024MB):

here

I can get both for around the same price, but the Corsair might not come with receipt since i wont be buying it from a store (if I decide to buy it). Will Corsair honor warranty without receipt? Also which one is a better performer?

The links I posted were just meant to be used as product reference pages. I can get the Corsair one for $90 flat from an individual seller on a deals forum (which means there might not be repeipt) or I can get the OCZ one for $90+tax, and has a $10 MIR and it will come with receipt since it's from TigerDirect. They're both brand new. My biggest question now is whether or not Corsair will honor warranty without receipt...

I am not entirely sure, but Corsair should honor the warranty because if you do have a problem with it usually all you have to do is call them up and tell them and then just send the memory, you won't need the receipt.

I realize that both Corsair and OCZ have lifetime warranty...but do they require proof of purchase? As OCZ's warranty FAQ states that warranty does not apply to "Modules that are purchased from other end users." (which is how it'll be if I buy the Corsair XMS2, even though it's also brand new and sealed).
