1- Insert the cd.

2- Go to Computer.

3- You should see the cd has been inserted in the drive, instead of double clicking, right click it, select either Open or Explore.

4- You should see something called Setup.exe, run this and it should install.

It's saying "Play Dawn of War" because it is already installed. It's quite common for installers to do that, not many installers offer an option to repair. If you really want to completely restore it, below "Play Dawn of War" there should be an Uninstall option. Uninstall it and wait for that to complete, then you'll be able to Install it again.

You should have the option to modify, repair or install. My version is already installed but using setup.exe gives me the option to do so. Either you are trolling or aren't really willing to look into it at all...

Now.. don't come back and hate me if this screws things up for you. Because honestly.. I don't care :D
But, usually the keys in the registry are stored in "sub folder" to the companys name. Lets assume that we are talking about NHL 09, then the registry keys are stored under EA in the registry.. ok? With me so far?

Start the registry editor with "Start->Run->Regedit"
Search for either the Producer/Developers name or the game (in this case Dawn of war).
10 Delete the keys that is associated with it.
20 [F3] continues the search.
GOTO 10.
END

Try a reinstall.

Oh.. another thing. You might want to check out the folders under "My Document and settings". Might be a folder there that is linked to the game. ok?
If so, *clack* *clack* just waste it. Usually it's here the game saves the Savegames, so if you want them, copy them somewhere else before putting the folder out of it's misery.

Out.

Try removing it from add/removing programs(if he only deleted the folder it should still be there) then remove it, then install it again. Then a magical lepricon will spring from the demention of never ending insanity & grant you a PC with 100,000,000Terabytes of speed. . . . . .oh wait, no that wont happen.
