9800gt vs 8800gts

Just wondering which one i should get, i've ordered a Zotac 9800gt 512mb pci 2.0 from a different website for 90 pounds, but i came on a website today and seen PNY 8800gts g92 512 mb pci x16 for 95 pounds.

Note: my Mobo is pci 2.0 if that helps
Should i send my 9800gt back when i get it and spend 5 pounds more and get the 8800gts? is it worth it? need help, thanks all

Regards

I would stay with the 9800GT if it were me but, maybe the 8800 out-performs it?

very close performance. I got the 9800gt because at the time it was cheaper and plan to use this card for another year and then buy another one to put them in sli and then game on them until dx11 comes out. if the 9800gt is cheaper get it,. If the 8800gts is cheaper get it.

I'd get the 8800GTS because of the larger memory and the better brand. I've never seen Zotac before (for better or worse), but a PNY card will definitely give you a better support if you eventually need it.

8800GTS 512 it's close to a 9800GTX so it's obviously the better card.

I am aware that the 8800gts slightly better in performance, but is this enough to merit me messing sending the 9800gt and spending more money?

Apologies, it has the same. But I think the G92 chip is better than the 9800GTs even though its older.
