connection wise u should be fine. GW doesent require a huge speed or anything. something as low as 256kb+ should do the trick nicely (i rant it on a 512kb connection with no probs at all).

ure ram is way too low though. the min requirement for nightfall is 512MB. u need an upgrade. great game though, i certainly recommend it.

Get at least a 1GB of ram. Don't bother if you don't because performance will suffer.

You need more RAM. 256mb won't cut it. You need at least 512mb of RAM, but even then I suggest you upgrade to around 1GB.

512mb will do just fine, you don't need 1gb to run Guild Wars smoothly. My brother's desktop is 512mb and he runs all three of them with no problem. Your internet connection shouldn't give you a problem either, because we used to have dial-up but Guild Wars still ran without much problems.

First you need to find out what kind of ram you computer supports, you can do this by simply finding out what motherboard you have. Usually you can find out this info on the site of the manufacture of your computer. From there find out what speed your ram runs at, it'll be something like PC3200 or PC2700. Then you'll need to go to a store or buy it online, a good site is http://www.newegg.com If you want to learn more about memory simply just google it, does wonders.

You need to purchase Ram chips, depending on what type of slots you have on your motherboard. You can then purchase it in certain amounts, such as 256MB chips, 512MB chips, 1GB chips etc.
