Need help building my new computer

Hi, here is my planned future setup:

Pentium 4 3.2 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB Superclocked
Kingston 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667
NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard

1.Please can you tell me wether I will be able to play games at max (medium-high).
2.Should I add another 2GB of RAM (total of 4GB)?
3.Should I buy an Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 or just keep my old pentium 4 CPU or change?

Get a E6320 or AMD Athlon X2 4600 or 4800 before getting a new GPU.

And 2GB is enough forn nowaday , I think it will be enough for the next few years.

well that processor is pretty low end compared to the rest of your system, you'll be bottlenecking yourself if you keep it for long.

1. depends on the resolution you'll be playing at, but if you keep the resolution low you should be able to max games for awhile with that video card.
2. no, 2gb is fine for today's standards, 4gb is un-needed. save the money for a new processor.
3. as i said before, you should definately buy a new processor. but the E4300 is kind of low also,a few programs and games dont utilize dual core, and then you would be stuck with a single 1.8ghz core, which is really bad. i suggest thisprocessor, the E6400, which is imo the best bang for your buck atm.

2.Should i spend more on the CPU and find another cheaper motherboard?cero10

1. AMD X2 4800 is abit stronger then E6320 (almost equal)

2. That would be good. You don't need SLI Motherboard when you're not gonna use it.

Low? I was thinking it can run things on High (todays games), and within the next 2 years settings will keep you going on Medium/low..

1.If you get another processor you will play everything maxed.

2.If you have a 64bit Operating System you can consider in buying 2 extra gigs, in other case its useless.

3. Get a E4300 after July 22, intel is having a price drop. :)
